MARTIN AND TERRY,OUR FIRST USA TOUR.
Created by martin needs 14 years agoIn may 1994 Terry and Myself decided we would go to America together for the very first time,a journey into the unknown. After a gruelling 9 hour flight we arrived in Los Angeles, tired but raring to go, we collected our hire car at the airport and trouble, we had the wrong car, one number out on the registration, that's a good start. We were not laughing too much, we we too tired so we changed cars and off we went, round and round in circles, we couldn't find the freeway, what a nightmare. But this was our lucky day, we spotted a policeman,we flagged him down and he told us not to stop here again,this was a very dangerous place, Inglewood, where they had riots the year before, whoops, lets keep moving. Eventually we stopped at the Anaheim Travel Lodge, our troubles had only just begun, for some reason Terry didn't like my snoring, what's the problem i can't hear a thing, " IF YOU THINK I'M PUTTING UP WITH THAT FOR 2 WEEKS YOU ARE JOKING" said Terry. "THIS IS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I'M COMING WITH YOU" But bless him with the help of some cotton wool strategically placed, he got through that first night in one piece, and we had 11 more adventures to the States, and we both enjoyed them, every second of them, and there is no one i would rather travel with than the one and only TERRY, i miss him like crazy and i wish i could do it all over again and again and again, great memories i will never forget.
